I thought might be useful for you to understand some of my personal philosophy around what it takes to achieve success as a property investor.
Amazingly, just under 8% of the Australian population own an investment property. Australia happens to be one of the countries that has taken a strong interest in wealth and wealth creation. But, the truth is that most Aussies are not achieving much success and are unhappy with their results.
Sadly, the vast majority of people are stuck because they selected properties that were not a match for them. Maybe it was someone else’s idea, they inherit property, or maybe they attempt it once and it didn’t really work.
Most of these investors are not taking a structured approach and in many cases property investing actually creates a burden. But if property investing is so lucrative why do people stop at just one investment one or two investments?
The percentage of people who actually have some success with property investing is miniscule. Only 0.065% of the population own five or more investment properties.
